NEW YORK – July 19, 2010 – The King Tut Exhibition is making one final stop before returning to Egypt, and The Westin New York at Times Square is giving guests an opportunity to see it, VIP style. In addition to front-of-the-line access, VIP status means that timed entrances and black-out dates won’t apply, even when the exhibit is sold out. This unique experience, located at the Discovery Times Square Exhibition, just steps from the New York City hotel, will allow visitors to see the renowned treasures of King Tut in over 10 galleries filled with 130 artifacts. Plus, guests who stay on a Sunday night will receive a $50 credit to the hotel’s Bar 10.
Nightly rates for accommodations, two tickets, and one $50 Bar 10 credit start at $279 per room, and are valid for Sunday night stays now through Sept. 26, 2010.* Travelers can use the credit in Bar 10 to sip on summer cocktails like the coconut caprioska, ginger smash, cucumber delight, or indulge in light fare including the grilled sirloin sliders trio, blackened tenderloin tips, or jumbo lump crab cakes, as well as monthly specials.
